Grace Burton MS, RDN, LDN
Grace Burton is a Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration. She is a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition Science at NC State University followed by her Master of Science in Nutrition at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Grace completed her Dietetic Internship at the South Carolina Department of Health located in Columbia.
Upon completing her internship in South Carolina, Grace moved to Washington, DC where she worked as a clinical dietitian in an inpatient rehabilitation hospital. She also provided outpatient nutrition counseling, which she found to be a true passion. She then went on to become the Clinical Nutrition and Patient Services Manager at the same facility, where she gained valuable experience in both management and food service. After being in DC for a few years, Grace decided to move back home to North Carolina, where she also wanted to get back into patient care and nutrition counseling. She enjoys building rapport with patients and helping them to set realistic, individualized goals. She also loves educating patients on how food choices play such an important role in both improving health status and preventing chronic diseases.
In her free time, Grace enjoys running, traveling, exploring new restaurants, and spending time with family and friends. She’s excited to be back in her home town and is looking forward to cheering on the NC State Wolfpack at future football and basketball games.
