Andrew Bohunicky, PA-C
Andrew Bohunicky is a Board-Certified Physician Assistant. He was born and raised in upstate New York where he received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the State University of New York at Oneonta. He then moved to Tampa, Florida where he worked as a Patient Care Technician at St. Joseph’s Hospital. He went on to obtain his degree as a physician assistant from the Nova Southeastern University Physician Assistant program in Fort Myers, Florida.
Throughout his clinical rotations he found a special interest in establishing strong patient relationships in order to help patients reach their goals and maintain a happy and healthy lifestyle. He enjoys getting to know each of his patients and understands the importance of establishing customized, patient-centered care. This includes a focus on diet and lifestyle as an integral part in his approach to preventive medicine.
He recently moved to Raleigh with his girlfriend, Alexandria, and they have been enjoying finding new restaurants and exploring the city. In his free time, he enjoys taking his husky to the dog park and watching the NBA or NFL. He stays active by lifting weights, doing cross-fit, and running.
